TarraWarra Museum of Art is delighted to offer your school the opportunity to visit our Museum and explore the diverse range of Australian art on offer.The Museum will provide a guided tour by the experienced personnel who will share the vision for this unique Museum and its collection, and address the complexity of the period of Australian modernism from the 1950s to the present day. Tours are offered Tuesday through Sunday between 9.30am – 4pm.

Our secondary school talks can be tailored to any year level and interests. VCE Studio Arts students who are undertaking Unit 4 are offered a special behind the scenes tour of our conservation area (limit of 10 students applies).

Tour Options Tours should include at least 2 and no more than 25 students. (Numbers can be negotiated case-by-case). The cost is $3 per student for tours.

Self-guided tours – All groups must book to avoid tour clashes and overcrowding in the museum.

Note: Teachers and chaperones are admitted free

Archibald Prize 2011 During the Archibald Prize TWMA is able to offer tours at 9am or 9.45am prior to the opening of the Museum to the general public. The cost for tours is $10 per student (including entry).

How to book a tour Booking inquiries can be made by contacting Hanna Hamilton, on hanna@twma.com.au or phone 03 5957 3100. Tours must be booked at least two weeks in advance of date requested. Tour confirmation will be e-mailed to the address provided on the form. We request that a week before the tour you call to confirm your tour date, time and the number in your group.
