Arthur Boyd: Reflections
This exhibition brings together paintings from the TarraWarra Museum of Art collection by Arthur Boyd in which floating figures and water are used as a device to encourage the act of reflection, prompting the viewer to consider the universal themes he presents. In Bride in a Cave, 1958, Bride Drinking from Pool, 1960, and Nude Floating Over Dark Pond III, 1962, environmental and sociological issues made accessible through the magic of myth.
