Rosie Westbrook at TarraWarra Museum of Art

Rosie Westbrook is a Melbourne-based instrumentalist and composer. Classically trained in guitar and double bass, Rosie produces music that is inherently cinematic and emotional. Haunting, delicate guitars create dream-like soundscapes punctuated by bursts of melody.

Rosie’s passion for visual art has seen her write soundtracks for a number of documentaries about featured Australian artists and also to develop live performance installations inspired by particular artists.

At TarraWarra Museum of Art, Rosie will play music that is inspired by and responds to various works in The Triumph of Modernism exhibition. Hear drifts of guitars echoing through the gallery as a backdrop to the paintings or sit and become immersed in the music.
