Held inside our main gallery at TarraWarra Museum of Art, an intimate afternoon of talks will consider a wide range of themes, including decoloniality, the Earth, working on Country and sound. 

The talks have arisen from The Soils Projecta collaborative research project between the Van Abbemuseum, the Netherlands; Struggles for Sovereignty, Indonesia; and TarraWarra Museum of Art and the exhibition Sonia Leber and David Chesworth: Where Lakes Once Had Water.

Join us for a keynote by Aldo Ramos and Director of the Van Abbemuseum, Charles Esche. This will be followed by a panel discussion with the artists Sonia Leber and David Chesworth and scientists Associate Professor Michael-Shawn Fletcher and Associate Professor Tim Cohen, thanks to the support of CABAH and the University of Wollongong.Date: 23 October 2022, 1–4pm followed by refreshments in our foyer
