School Holiday Workshop:
Geometric Body Movement

Tuesday 9 April 2024
2PM
SCHOOL HOLIDAY EVENT

Does your child love to dance and move?

Use your body as a moving sculpture to explore the geometry of the world around you, in a unique workshop with performance artist Gülsen Özer. You’ll engage in choreographic games and use choose-your-adventure instructions to create shapes and movements relating to the visual field, both natural and human-made. Play with repetition and abstraction and watch as your creations morph and change, igniting imagination and delight. Get ready to play and explore in this school holiday workshop held on the Museum grounds.

Gülsen Özer is an artist with a strongly socially engaged practice. Creating mixed media, interactive and conceptual artworks, Özer uses the power of live performance and installation design to facilitate a re-enchantment of embodiment, relationships and presence.

24pm Tuesday 9 April

Cost: $20 per child($15 Members) ages 6 to 14 years

Places are strictly limited to 15 children
