A special school holiday event for the TarraWarra Biennial 2023: ua usiusi faʻavaʻasavili, curated by Dr Léuli Eshrāghi.

Plan a trip to the Yarra Valley these school holidays and create unique, kinetic mobile sculptures at TarraWarra Museum of Art!

Suitable for children ages 7 to 14, this interactive 1.5 hour workshop led by TarraWarra Biennial 2023 artist Torika Bolatagici will inspire your young artists to explore space, movement and form as part of their artmaking techniques.

Enjoy the beautiful grounds, visit our current exhibition, and take home a wonderful kinetic mobile sculpture.

Torika Bolatagici is a Fijian-Australian artist and educator based in Naarm/Melbourne. Her video and photographic work often explores the social, cultural and political movement of bodies. Bolatagici teaches photography, art theory and praxis at RMIT University, Melbourne.

This project has been assisted by the Australian Government through the Australia Council, its arts funding and advisory body; and supported by the Victorian Government through Creative Victoria; Creative Partnerships Australia through Plus1; and the Copyright Agency’s Cultural Fund.
