Experience a special outdoor weaving workshop led by artist Jenine Godwin-Thompson, a Yaggerah woman from south- east Queensland area known as Meeanjin (Brisbane).

Held on the picturesque grounds of TarraWarra, bring a rug and your family or friends as you weave outdoors, inspired by Country.

You will learn Jenine’s personal Wild Weaving technique and create a 3D woven form to take home. Suitable for adults and teenagers from 14 years of ages onwards.

Your ticket includes entry to our current exhibition The Soils Project where you can experience artworks created by 13 practitioners and collectives from Australia, the Netherlands and Indonesia.

Cost: $20 per adult ($15 Members)

$5 for Yarra & Dandenong Ranges residents, thanks to Yarra Ranges Council.

Where: TarraWarra Museum of Art, Wurundjeri Country

Places are strictly limited to 20 people.

Please arrive 10 minutes prior to the workshop for registration.

The workshop will take place outdoors on the Museum’s grounds. Please ensure you bring appropriate clothing for the weather on the day. BYO rug. The workshop will be rescheduled within 24 hours if inclement weather is forecast.
